MISSION
Little League® believes in the power of youth baseball and softball to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities.
District 8 of Ontario Little League covers the area of the Ottawa Valley. We represent the 6 leagues in our district who follow the rules and regulations of Little League International, the largest youth sports organization in the world with 2.5 million participants across the world.
Little League has fundamental believes that we strive to embody every day. These values include community, fun, inclusivity, integrity and teamwork.
Our leagues offer different programs from house league to competitive all star programs. Each league operates under certain boundary restrictions and players must reside in the given district or attend school within those boundaries.
Our leagues will play interlock house league games against others in our district or districts in Ottawa.
Our all star teams from each league will playoff against each other in District playdowns to determine who will represent our District at the Provincial Championships against the other 7 Ontario district winners.
